We began with our My Baby Biome (MBB) Study, the largest and most diverse study ever done in the U.S. to map the infant gut microbiome.**

By analyzing over 400 dirty diapers from real families, we uncovered that 9 out of 10 babies are missing keystone strains of Bifodobacterium, critical microbes for immune development.

This was the foundation for everything that followed.

We turned that discovery into a solution

Once we uncovered what was missing, we used AI to analyze the data and pinpoint three critical strains of Bifidobacterium that play an essential role in shaping infant gut and immune health.

From there, we built one of the world’s largest strain banks from healthy, modern infants and rigorously tested countless combinations. After years of research, we created a synbiotic designed to restore what nature intended—with the exact strains and nutrients babies need to thrive.

The Nourishment: Prebiotics

Prebiotics are specialized food sources that feed beneficial bacteria in your gut. In infants, these prebiotics typically come from human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs), complex sugars found in breast milk that feed good bacteria. We've identified and included the four most crucial HMO varieties that specifically nourish our four probiotic strains.
Our Proprietary Probiotic Strains
Our formula contains four keystone strains of beneficial bacteria, each playing a vital role in establishing a healthy gut ecosystem for life:
- PB-01 & PB-02 (B. infantis): A critical microbe for the early microbiome. We include two complementary strains to ensure success across diverse microbiomes. These strains are HMO superusers, helping the digestion of complex carbohydrates, generating immune regulating metabolites, and suppressing inflammatory bacteria.
- PB-03 (B. longum): Supports the crucial transition to solid foods while maintaining gut barrier function. This versatile strain effectively processes both HMOs and other carbohydrates.
- PB-04 (B. breve): Aids in complex carbohydrate breakdown and immune system development. Is associated with lower risk of atopic conditions: allergies, eczema, and asthma.
